Negative Kitty was founded by longtime collaborators Seby X Martinez and Kurt Vinci to visualize bold, colorful, and thought-provoking work for clients who think outside-the-box, as well as independent projects.
Seby X Martinez
Seby is a director, film & video editor, writer and producer in Brooklyn, NY.
He started out as a script reader at HBO and soon wound up at iconic cult cinema house Troma Entertainment, where he put together promos and edited the latest film from founder and Toxic Avenger creator Lloyd Kaufman.
Now, he helms video projects from pre-through-post production, including music videos for acts like Ice-T’s Grammy-winning band Body Count, David Liebe Hart (Adult Swim), and metal acts Sanguisugabogg and Escuela Grind.
Kurt Vinci
Kurt is a 2d animator, illustrator, and graphic designer in Brookfield, CT. He animates music videos, corporate style motion graphics, and logos for a variety of clients.
After creating award-winning music videos at Western Connecticut State University, the school hired him to co-create and help teach their first animation class. You may have seen the animated “Birdie” spots he made, which were featured on The People for Bernie Sanders social media pages.
