The Florida International Horror Film Festival returns for it's second year.
The FIHFF is a genre film festival created to celebrate the past, present and future of Horror, Thriller, and Suspense.
Two days of cult film screenings and independent shorts & features!
The festival’s director Michael Favata is also the director of programming and creator of one of Florida’s longest running film series, Shock-A-Rama. It’s been screening cult horror films at the Movies of Lake Worth monthly since 2015 and has been featured locally in the New Times, Palm Beach Post, Sun Sentinel and nationally on Horror Movies Uncut & Horror News.

Negative Fest 2019 Entry Rules
1. I have read, understated and fully comply with all submission eligibility information, Submission Guidelines, Terms and Conditions of Entry and Entry Eligibility requirements.
2. To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements in this document are true;
3. This film or video is not subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation;
4. I am duly authorized to submit this film to the festival;
5. I hold Negative Fest harmless from any damage to the print(s) or tape(s) en route or otherwise during the course of the festival’s possession of the film;
6. I hold Negative Fest, its owners, management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc. harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from my entry.
7. I certify that I have full rights to the use of the music in the entered work.
8. I give permission for Negative Fest to use stills, titles, copy, and/or information from the film for promotional purposes
9. I give permission for Negative Fest to screen the film at the Festival as well as any Festival presentations, programs, and/or events.
10. I understand that Negative Fest does not pay any screening fees.
11. I understand that Negative Fest does not refund any submission fees.
12. I understand that Negative Fest does not cover any additional expenses including but not limited to shipping, travel & subtitling.
Negative Fest 2019 Entry Guidelines
For Feature Length films, Blu-ray is the preferred format but Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is also accepted.
For short films downloadable Digital Files are preferred.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
If your film is selected, we will notify filmmakers by email on or before June 15th, 2019. After acceptance, the exhibition format will need to be received by July 1st, 2019. Rental and/or screening fees are not paid for submitted work that is programmed.
Films can not be withdrawn from the Festival after being selected.
All costs of shipping exhibition prints is the responsibility of the filmmakers. Negative Fest is not responsible for prints lost or damaged in transit.
