Director Statement

Although Nature is clearly and kindly showing us her need for our attention and help we keep ignoring her call and passively neglecting that we belong together.
In a moment when our perception and relationship with nature and reality are getting redefined, I propose to explore how the power of raw and direct audiovisual encounter between a camera and its natural surroundings could function as trigger of our necessary re-connection with them. I propose the basics of audiovisual creation as viewfinder and lighthouse to help us return to our nature. I also see this as an imperative contemporary experiment to get back to basics and provoke the recovery of our intrinsic need of time and space for reflection about our present, nature and concepts like time, evolution, speed, existence and decay.
