Natalie Jasmine Harris is a 21-year-old filmmaker from Silver Spring, Maryland. She is a rising senior at New York University where she is majoring in Film & Television with a minor in anthropology. Natalie’s film work often focuses on coming of age through representations of various identities such as Blackness, queerness, spirituality, and womanhood. Natalie views filmmaking as a way to provide representation for some of the difficult realities that people belonging to marginalized groups often face. However, she also uses her art as a way to re-imagine liberation through creating work where marginalized folks can exist in worlds with less hardship. Other than filmmaking, Natalie is a lover of tea, astrology, and poetry. She is currently located in New York City.
