Namya Chadha is a filmmaker and photographer based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her Bachelor’s in Design in the Film and Video Communication department at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and was selected for an exchange semester at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem.
As a hard of hearing individual, Namya communicates about her disability through open and intuitive visual storytelling. Her work aims to provide an authentic and emotional impression. She aims to explore a distinctive storytelling style that delves into disability in films, focusing on themes of accessibility and identity. She strives to deepen understanding and strengthen the connection to the world of arts and films, making it more accessible and impactful for everyone.
