“Crowdfunding isn’t about collections money. It’s about making something happen with a crowd of people who believe in something”
– Jozefien Daelemans. Charlie magazine – Founder.
Since my childhood, I have seen people collecting money in the name of religion, god, festivals, etc. For me, cinema is my religion and its celebration is my festival.
A 24 pages script, 2 digital cameras, guerrilla film-making, and 12 passionate cast-crew members, constituted an enthralling cinematic journey of 2 years 4 months 3 days.
We made it as 'El mariachi' got made...
The making of this film was not possible without the support and contribution of almost a hundred cinema lovers. Thanks to them, today, I'm extremely proud and excited to be able to represent an independent Rajasthani cinema in prestigious international film festivals.
