Nám (Water)

The word "Nám" means "water" in Thai language. Young people ,who are struggling with stressful life events, sometime explain their feelings as breathing underwater. Without any help, the amount of water keeps rising while their hearts and minds keep falling apart and drowning into the deep dark water.

The project "Nám" consists of three short stories which portray three different common situations that could easily lead to depression, or even suicide, in adolescents and young adults. Sadly, one person still dies every 40 seconds from suicide globally. However, we all have the best power to rescue those who are suffering.
