Director Biography - Pablo Uriarte Bravo

My name is Pablo Uriarte, I´m a filmmaker based in Galicia, Spain. The Ocean is my passion since I was born. I´m a surfer of The Coast of Dead, a beautifull and dangerous place where sea culture is very important. I founded my own Production Company in 2015 which is called Morelo Postfilms to spread the ocean culture.

The short film promotes the independent cinema of which I consider myself a strong advocate, since it helps to promote the creation of cinematography with economically adjusted budgets that do not restrict creative freedom and emphasize a more natural, profound and poetic relationship between the filmmaker and the camera.

In my case, in addition, I make a cinema without dialogues, a cinema of contemplative character that contributes to a general understanding that is not hindered by language borders, but benefited by a rational and emotional understanding in any place where it is seen.
