I had a great time at this festival. Hospitality was excellent. The awards ceremony was quite festive, in a large theater, with food and beverages outside the theater. The films were good too. I recommend New York True Venture Film Festival. They are unpretentious. They like films and they like people. You will have a good time and possibly win an award.

It was an honor to screen my feature film, "Twenty-Nine" at the NYTVFF. The festival organizers were helpful, communicative, and enthustiastic. They really put on a great festival, and I want to thank them very much for awarding my film "Best Narrative Feature." I look forward to submitting more projects in the future!

  • We were so happy to be included in this year's NYTVFF! It was an honor to be nominated for best narrative feature with our first feature film, MidLife.

They provided us a great viewing experience and the awards ceremony was excellent! You wouldn't believe that this team is only in their third year as a festival. They ran an amazing program and we hope to be back with our future projects. I would highly recommend this festival to filmmakers of all experience levels.

  • The New York True Venture Film Festival was incredible. Thank you for selecting, nominating, and offering an award for my short documentary "She Survived". The festival's organizers go above and beyond to welcome filmmakers into the fold. Their communications are frequent, informative, and inviting. If you are considering applying, please do! This has been my favorite experience this year!
