Nicholas Garr (Creator/Writer/Director) is an Actor, Writer and Director working in film, television and stage. He is also a registered nurse with 17 years of experience, working in the areas of Cardiac Telemetry, Post-Op, Orthopedics, ICU, Psych, Addiction Recovery and the Emergency Department.
As an artist, he has performed on Broadway, at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Radio City Music Hall, Le Chatlet in Paris, and the National Theatre at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei. Nick has also performed Off-Broadway and around the U.S. in productions of A Streetcar Named Desire, A Doll’s House, Godspell, Brigadoon, Orpheus Descending, West Side Story, as well as new plays Fast Food Voices and 100 Lives. His television credits include Law and Order, Dream On, Another World, and Loving. He has directed and produced Broadway USA, which toured Taiwan. Wrote and produced his one person show, Paper Tigers and has directed stage productions across the United States.

NURSES STATION tells the extraordinary, yet underreported stories of a broken healthcare system, told from the point of view of nurses on the front line. Based on true stories, NURSES STATION is a docudrama series that shares the feelings and emotions of these unique people, as they live through their experiences. Since real nurses are involved in the production, all aspects of hospital procedures are completely accurate.
