NUISIBLES
Two little rats running one after the other: they're the kings of the junkyard!
Two pre-teens, a girl and a boy, are hanging around after getting kicked out of school. They're not very talkative. The boy smokes a cigarette to decompress.
They don't seem to be playing in the same team. The need for adventure leads the boy to explore the horizon by climbing onto the roof of the bus against which they were leaning. He gives the lighter to his friend, while she remains on the ground in a desire to contemplate her surroundings.
A rat approaches the girl.
Intrigued, she extends her arm, but the rat instinctively bites her finger. Taken by surprise, the girl flinches and, in one swift movement, drops her friend's lighter.
On the ground, the lighter ignites the car junkyard. Survival is all that's left. Everyone must flee danger, rats and humans alike. They are overtaken by events. In the face of adversity, the two friends must join forces.

By nature curious, I enjoy exploring the boundaries of the animated cinema medium. I try to translate my love for music, cinema, photography, and drawing through my graphic universes.
I enjoy experimenting and blending traditional and digital drawing techniques, giving a distinctive graphic style to my illustrations and projects.
In my animated film NUISIBLES (VERMIN in English), I seek to explore our relationship with the environment as well as our connection with animals. Through my protagonists, I wanted to show the wandering of two young people in a hostile environment that is ill-suited for humans. It’s an environment almost post-apocalyptic in nature, reflecting the industrialization and mass consumption of humanity, represented by the car scrapyard. Despite everything, nature has reclaimed its place, and the rats have resumed their lives. The film draws a parallel between humans and rats. Both species will have to escape danger. The theme of survival in the face of nature’s elements will bring them closer together, despite their differences.
