The Naqsh Short Film Festival is an annual non-profit cultural event that takes place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. NSFF is an event wholly owned and organized by Naqsh Films.

The Festival aims to develop the local film culture, creating greater opportunities for filmmakers to screen their films and develop future film projects.

The Festival aims to celebrate excellence in local cinema and be a destination festival for the film community to discover international culture.The 4th edition of NSFF will be held on March 2016.

Naqsh Creative award is open only for the Bahraini film makers

ELIGIBILITY FOR SELECTION:
All entry films (documentary and short formats) must meet all of the following eligibility conditions:
The film must have been produced after January 1, 2014.
The film submission must be completed and presented prior to 20 January 2016.
The duration of the short film must be less than 20 minutes.
The film must not have been broadcasted and/or made available on television, the internet, mobile phones and/or any other public viewing platform now known or thereafter devised before and until the end of the festival.
All non-English films must have English subtitles.
The submitted work must NOT be a television programme or an episode of a series.
Films that have been submitted and rejected to earlier editions of NSFF will not be considered.
In the event that a film is not selected by NSFF for the Official Competitions, NSFF reserve the right to select the said film for screening only.
In the event that a film is not selected by NSFF for the Official Competitions, NSFF reserves the right to select said film for any suitable purpose.
