The NOLA Horror Film Fest is a festival created by horror filmmakers for horror fans. It’s no small wonder - and no great surprise - that so many of today’s top directors got their start in “low budget horror”. With determination and imagination, these artists have created some truly memorable work that has encouraged and inspired a new generation of filmmakers. Our goal is the promotion of Genre Filmmaking in Louisiana, as well as nationally and internationally. The NOLAHFF is committed to celebrating the craft and advancing the art form of Genre Films.

Even though the festival is called NOLA Horror Film Fest, the NOLAHFF accepts ALL SUB-GENRES: Horror / Science Fiction / Fantasy / Thriller / Suspense / Psychological / Action / Gothic / Dark Drama / Dark Comedy / Horror Comedy / B-Movie / Campy / Experimental / Documentary

JT and the team of super people running NOLA Horror know how to take care of filmmakers and champion their films. They've tapped into something special and we're dying to come back. Oh, and the theatre venue is badass too.

A very personal and communicative service from the organisers of this brilliant festival. Although we couldn't attend, we felt very much part of the community of filmmakers and the festival activity itself. Strongly recommend.

NOLA Horror Film Festival was excellent. So many high-calibre films were shown and the organizers were friendly & cool. There was a filmmakers's lunch that provided a great opportunity to meet & talk with other directors & writers. Highly recommended.
