Was deeply disappointed by the festival. Got a mail a few weeks before the festival which said my film would be 'awarded'. However, once I attended the ceremony, I realized every nominated film was awarded — and the awards were not the ones they have mentioned on either Film Freeway or their website. All films were just ranked ambiguously and certificates were given accordingly, and categories for Best Director, Sound, Editing, Cinematography, etc. were skipped altogether. It felt like an absolute waste to travel all the way to New Delhi for this, and it appeared as if the festival did not take itself seriously at all. To make things worse, the submission fees are among some of the most expensive, which does not match up to the quality at all.
