Director Statement

-NEU MIRRORS is a spinoff short film of NEW RELIGION-

"Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man." This is from Zhuangzi's Butterfly Dreams.
This film is a story about the blurring of the boundaries between self and others and the fragility of human perception of such dreams. This is also a work that expands on the motif of dreams by focusing on what happens to one of the characters in my first feature film "NEW RELIGION," a film about loss.
