Nascido e criado no Brasil, atualmente vivendo em Portugal, Matheus de Oliveira é um jovem novo realizador e escritor. Apenas com o ensino secundário em Imagem Interativa no Instituto das Artes e da Imagem, seus trabalhos resumem-se a estudos e experimentos da linguagem através da imagem.

A sua maior motivação para a criação e conclusão do projeto dito MJEUM (Minha juventude é uma necessidade) é uma nova maneira de pensar sobre as obrigações da vida, procurando uma perspectiva diferente em busca da felicidade individual e da auto-realização sem necessitar de instituições, grupos sociais e carreiras profissionais de sucesso.
