Mystical Music Tour

Musicians from Topanga Canyon journey to Northern California in order to escape the pandemic lock-down and perform an immersive sound bath concert series from a triple-deck houseboat on Lake Shasta. This is part one of a two part series.

Director Biography - Jane McAllister, J.J. Barmettler

Jane McAllister:
Jane is Executive Producer of "Badland Wives" and Director of the short documentary films "Caretaker for the Lord" and "Sporran Makers". As a former opera singer, Jane has travelled the world performing. She and producing partners are currently Executive Producing a reboot of "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" series.

J.J. Barmettler:
J.J. is a filmmaker with a diverse background in features, documentaries and series. His current VR-360 projects are the short series "Sedona VR-360" (sedonavr360.com) and the two-part VR-360 feature "Mystical Music Tour". J.J.'s first 360 project, "Alien Secrets VR-360 Experience" was an Official Selection in FIVARS 2021 VR/AR festival held in Beverly Hills. He is currently, also entering his Vietnam War documentary "Recon Commando" in film festival competitions for 2022.

Director's Statement from Jane McAllister:
I'm an Opera Singer and have played in many Topanga Canyon based bands over the past 20 years. This VR360 Experience on Lake Shasta is so much more than just a film and is an active life altering musical experience for me. With all we as a planet have experienced during the pandemic, it was time for some positive good time vibrations, music and healing for everyone to enjoy.
I'm happy to be part of such an interactive and musically spiritual immersive journey.

I'm working my way into the virtual reality realm of entertainment, teamed up with some talented music people in Topanga and co-created a wonderful immersive sound bath experience for generations to enjoy. It was fun to create environments that immerse you with water, crystals and music, placing you magically in the middle of it as if you are creating healing sounds with the musicians in concert together.
