My mother was Fogaceira

The Celebration of Fogaceiras is the most emblematic tradition of the city of S. Maria da Feira. Mrs. Fátima Magalhães was one of the main organizers of this event for years. She was a seamstress and tailored the dresses of the girls who participated in the procession, in honor of S. Sebastião. This film reveals some stories of her life that were told to the students by her daughter.
