My first birthday

Marko Mihailović was born on March 18, 2002, in Belgrade. He completed his primary education at "Posavski partizani" in Obrenovac. His educational journey continued at the high school in Obrenovac. During high school, he developed a keen interest in the art of filmmaking, working on short school films in the German language. He participated in a film workshop at the cultural center in Obrenovac and began working on his first screenplay, which he later realized in the role of a cinematographer. At the age of 15, he directed his first music video and worked as a freelancer until the beginning of his undergraduate studies.

Marko pursued further education at the Faculty of Media and Communication, specializing in digital arts, and is currently a fourth-year student. Throughout his studies, he contributed to over 20 student projects, primarily as a director of photography but also taking on roles such as director, cinematographer, and editor. Additionally, he established connections and collaborations beyond the university.

Notable projects during his studies include: "Memories from Sokobanja," a short film directed by Dušan Popović (director of photography and cinematographer); "My Realm Beneath," a short film directed by Dušan Popović (co-screenwriter, producer, director of photography, cinematographer, editor); "Ten – Nine," a short film directed by Sava Nikolić (gaffer and camera assistant); "Diagnosis," a film directed by Damjan Paunković, the first Serbian interactive film available on streaming platforms (director of photography and cinematographer); "Bird," a short film directed by Tamara Radojevic (director of photography and cinematographer); "Personal," a short film directed by Sergej Šepetkovski (director of photography); "In a Healthy Body, Healthy Spirit," a short film directed by Sara Marović (director of photography and cinematographer); "The Last Act," a short film directed by Una Bojić (director of photography and cinematographer); "Zeka," a short film directed by Petar Djuraković (director of photography and cinematographer); "Revenge," a short film directed by Aleksa Kosanović (gaffer); Music video for the song "Lemur" by Miljan Vojinović (director of photography and cinematographer); Music video for the song "Red Flag" by Petar Profit (director of photography and cinematographer).

During his studies, Marko also executed independent film and video art projects, including "Consumerism," a video work (director, cinematographer, and editor); "Creation," a video work (director, cinematographer, and editor); "My First Birthday," a short documentary film (director, director of photography, sound designer and editor).

He served as a production supervisor at the "Frka" summer film workshop in Kragujevac in 2023. From 2022 to 2023, Marko volunteered at the international documentary film festival "Bistre reke."
