Experiencing Interruptions?

My dear Fear

Probably everyone being active in the outdoors has certain experiences with this one feeling... Fear.
Sometimes you don't even recognise it is present.
Sometimes it dominates everything and you cannot feel anything else.

No matter if sea kayaking in the surf, climbing a big wall of rock, or hiking alone in the woods.

Sometimes it gives you that rush of adrenalin that pushes you towards your limits and beyond.
Sometimes it takes over control and you feel like you're paralysed, can't think, can't move.

The question is, what amount of fear is good? What amount of fear is too much? How to distinguish the very thin line between both while being out?

I guess there is no easy answer to that. And probably the answer is different to everyone of us.

This film is my approach to creatively engage with this question.
