My Three Sisters
Young Mizi stands with her three elder sisters as they navigate various hurdles that life throws at them: their gossip-loving mother keeps track of their monthly cycles, there is a sudden death, a mother-in-law who talks to dead relatives, uncooperative broiler chickens and so on. Life is tough, but Mizi and her sisters face everything with resilience and a never-say-die attitude.

Kenny made his first film, Local Kung Fu, on a production budget of just 1 lakh rupees. To his surprise, the film got so popular through piracy that its dialogues are now a part of Assam's pop culture. He has directed another six films since, all theatrically released, and directed several series both in Mumbai and in Assam. Apart from his own films, Kenny has acted in Jawaan, Mary Kom, Shanghai, Raag Desh and Yaara.

Bibo Binanao is an amalgamation of several stories and experiences I heard from my village cousins. In spite of limited resources, the pluck and resilience they show through life's various obstacles is quite admirable. As someone who grew up in towns and cities, I'm grateful that I have ancestral villages to go back to from time to time. This film is dedicated to the people of our villages, strong yet simple, and from whom I learn the importance of the true basics of life.
