My name is William Sangster and I am a 3rd year AUT student, majoring in Television and Screen production. For many years, I’ve always known what I wanted to do and that was to create films. I love communicating my ideas to screen and creating films that resonate with people. I love creating films that come from the heart and represents me, my family, my people and my culture. My goal is to represent and be a voice for pacific islanders on screen. The ability to unify everyone on a film set, cast and crew is what I love the most. This is because it creates a family, full of talent where everyone's creative ideas, no matter how big or small, are taken into consideration. I’ve got my own youtube channel where I post my vlogs usually behind the scenes of films and ‘parties’. This short film is my pride and joy, as it’s my last assignment before graduation. I’m very appreciative and grateful to everyone that has brought my short film to life. The amount of input, cooperation and love everyone on set has put into this film, makes me love it even more. It’s given me the motivation and confidence to keep pursuing my dream as a filmmaker.
