Insomnia and severe illness have both forced me to think about the past.

Born: 5th of June 1948
Education: Cinematography and Television Production Department PWSFTviT in Lodz, Poland (1975)
I photographed more then 50 fiction films, from which 16 of them were international/foreign productions.

• In October 2010 I have been honoured a Professor of Film Arts title, from a President of Poland
• 2015 - Livetime Achievement Award „Golden Camera 300” - International Film Camera Festival Manaki Brothers
• Since 2017 - member of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
• 2018 – Golden Gloria Artis – The Medal for Merit to Culture awarded by Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland
