Cihan is a German artist and filmmaker who grew up in the city of Stuttgart. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Media at Stuttgart Media University, he added a Master’s degree in International Finance as well as an MBA – before enrolling in UCLA Extension’s Producing and Directing programs as a Fulbright scholar.
A life-long artist and musician, long-time writer and director Cihan has authored, directed and produced several stage plays before transitioning to film. "My Secret Life as a Tree" is his first fully realized short film. Currently, Cihan is in post-production of several proof-of-concept short films produced during his on-going film studies at UCLA Extension as well as in development of screen adaptations of his stage plays. In his free time, Cihan is working on his first novel.
