My Little Prince
This film is about a lonely boy who went on the journey to find a friend. Main character, the Little Prince, exploring society of adult people through a perspective of a kid. His journey is an internal perpetual question - “should we grow up?” Asked to himself after each acquaintanceship with members of adult society . He finds a friend not among people, but among animals who behave more humanistic than some people do.
A famous French author - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, wrote this story but also it was visualized and inspired by an Azerbaijani artist struggling from Down syndrome - Maryam Alikberli. Her oil paintings are present in film, moreover, her child-like nature and world perception has something mysteriously common with the Little prince himself.

Arif Ali oghlu Maharramov was born on August 5, 1948. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade in 1972, and in 1981 graduated from the Painting Department of the All-Union State Cinematography Institute in Moscow. Since then, he has been an artist and director in several feature films in "Azerbaijanfilm" studio. Paintings have been exhibited in exhibitions in Azerbaijan and abroad. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and Latvia.
