Christopher Sheffield - The most ancient fear in the human mind is the failure of our bodies. It often feels like true heartbreak, the betrayal of our oldest and closest selves. Sometimes it even feels like more than betrayal; sometimes it feels like evil intent. “My Left Arm” is a disturbing tale about the betrayal of the body, and what terrifying presence might invade our vulnerable selves if just given a simple doorway. The film has been a labor of absolute love from the collective creative minds of the most sought after kind of team in the industry, a group of friends. It’s been a joy from pre to post to create something so effective with such excellent filmmakers, and I’m overjoyed that you all as the audience get a chance to delve into the dark world of ‘My Left Arm’!
