Has been a part of several projects, both larger and smaller productions. Works part time as a journalist as well as a photographer. Used to working in the field, connecting with people and various characters from around the world.
Born in the old working town of Jonsered. Located close to Gothenburg, the major port town of Sweden. Grew up around a strong sense of camaraderie and solidarity with this playing a big part in his own work.
During his formative years a deep passion for cinema manifested itself as he discovered the likes of Italian Neo-Realism, French New Wave and the mythological of the American Western.
To achieve an element of authenticity Hugo often limits himself to natural light sources, non-actors as well as minimalist set design.
Studied for one year at Nordiska Filmskolan.
A short film based on "The Myth of Sisyphus".
