Our mission is to forge a competition that will launch the careers of faith based writers and filmmakers and facilitate established filmmakers in transitioning into faith based films; and to introduce faith based films to mass audiences, ultimately, giving them the same multi platform release schedules and revenue streams that traditional studio films and high end independent films enjoy; and to inspire, showcase, support, and develop writers and filmmakers of all faith’s to make great faith based films that leave others touched, moved and inspired; and filmmakers and distributors empowered to make and distribute more films with an element of faith.

Our aim is to open doors for aspiring faith based writers and filmmakers in all genres.

This year we are under new leadership and are blessed to have some of the top names in faith based film on the advisory counsel and our jury who will all be given copies of our finalists scripts in addition to the producers and directors of the projects in our film festival who will also be given the option of reading our finalist’s work.

Why Faith Film? It's one of the most-requested and profitable genres today. After the success of Passion of the Christ, God’s not Dead, and Heaven is for Real. Everyone in Hollywood is looking for the next big faith based film.

Our aim is to open doors for aspiring faith based writers and filmmakers in all genres.

My experience with the International Family and Faith Screenwriting Competition was enjoyable from start to finish. I found the entry fee reasonable, all of the people I talked to in connection with the contest have been friendly and encouraging, and all promises have been kept. I highly recommend this festival!

All contests start out having to get their feet wet with the process. I'm so glad this contest is pushing forward because I think it'll be a major contender if they keep to their goals. I love the fact that faith films can be cutting edge; I love the fact that this contest actively looked for that. I'm a firm believer that family and faith films need to "cross-over" and speak directly to the heart of the wider audience. Thank you for the prize and accolades. Best to you as your festival grows.
