My Father Mujib

The narratives of Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the father of the nation of Bangladesh, are reminiscent of her father in this movie. Her father and her family were killed by some endangered army members. After being in exile for almost 6 years in 1981, when she was allowed to enter the house, she became emotional with old memories. Gradually she began to remember how her father had liberated a country, and sacrificed his life for the liberation of the people.

Director Statement

Being habituated to a continuous circulation of new, ordinary-extraordinary visions inside the mind is tremendous and is never easy at the same time. The absolute thirst for creating fresh images in my head hits me solid and also leads me to discover, innovate and create. And, not to mention, it’s the animation that gives me the freedom to do all the three.
