Mute Water

The time is rude. Joblessness suffers the downtrodden people. One father of a motherless kid also lost his usual job. So, for livelihood he had to indulge himself in some extra work to which he was not accustomed to. His desire to pacify his son's appetite and to defy starvation he tried his best to earn from the new job. He dreamt of a successful life where his son will be illuminating. His son will go to fine school in attractive attire, will have good food.
But fortunes never come to the poor! His dream and struggle to survive like other ordinary people, his deep desire to fulfil their hunger comes to a deadly end when he charges his harpoon to a big fish from his boat. But alas it is not a fish but his little son who drops from the other end of the boat!
