Director Biography - Bori Pokorska

Bori Pokorska is a 14-year-old who identifies as she/them. She is Polish and has an older sibling who is also aspiring to be a director. Attending since 7th grade, she has joined several semesters of film courses. Her interests spread out far from math, science, and theatre to K-Pop and nail art.

I was mostly inspired by noir films and detective series like my favourite, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. At my school, there have always been attempts to make a serious drama film and they always lacked the right tone with unintentional comedy, so I decided to try it myself
