Director Biography - Pablo Schmitt

Pablo Schmitt is an Argentine filmmaker, composer and musician from Corpus Christi, Texas. He taught himself to play guitar at age 14 and has played with bands ever since. But it was his father's classical music collection that put him on the path he is now. After seeing Braveheart in theaters back in the 1990s, his interest in film scoring took over and he taught himself how to write and orchestrate film score music. This eventually led to his interest in filmmaking which took over when he was almost 40. Composing and guitar still are very important to him, but films and filmmaking have taken the wheel for him.

Director Statement

Murder at the Manor was shot in two days and edited in about a week. It was written by good friend Alan Thornburg after I developed the idea for the film and presented it to him.
