Münster Künstler: I'm an Artist

"Münster Künstler," which loosely translates to "Artists of Münster" (a city in western Germany), is a project that was formed by a group of four students during our time studying at the SAE Institute Bochum. Two of us were audio students, and the other two were film students. The project quickly exceeded the initial scope we had planned for it, so we decided to continue it outside of the university after completing our bachelor's degrees. In the end, as part of the "Münster Künstler" project, we created two abstract music videos and seven artist portraits. The video above is the second music video, which was exclusively created using audio samples of the artists' works in the music composition. In comparrison to the other version of the musicvideo, this version can be considered as the less abstract version of the two musicvideos created. We decided to shorten this version and include vocals from the artists interviews. We did that to connect the viewer closer to the artists and let the video convey the message of what an artists life feels like.
