Our platform helps freethinkers find each other and work together, discuss projects, find different types of partnership.

Our team consists of European Directors, Producers, Screenwriters and Distributors.
Judgement process is based on technical and creative assessment.
We’re working hard to make you feel best experience of your screening.

Event will be held in 19-22 August 2023 in Englischer Garten.
Event will consist of Q&A with Participants and guest stars; red carpet; Interviews for media and filmmaking Magazines.
25 Short Works, 10 Music Videos, 1 Feature Film will be screened during the festival

Winners will receive official laurel, diploma, project development.

Please read these Rules & Terms carefully before you submit your film.

By submitting your film into competition in the Munich Independent film Festival you agree with Rules & Terms.

MIFF is open to any film completed after January 1, 2019, regardless of content, subject, or origin.

Submitting your film to the MIFF is not a guarantee of selection.

We consider films regardless of their premiere status.

All the winning films will receive an award or certificate.

We treat every filmmaker equally.

Films made in languages other than English must have English subtitles otherwise they will be summarily rejected.

The festival has the right to use a trailer, stills, pics and posters for promotional purposes in various film magazines, social media, websites, etc.

The MIFF reserves the right to refuse entries.

The MIFF will not refund any fees if the filmmaker fails to submit the film in the correct category. Films submitted without the correct fees or proper submission media may be deemed ineligible at the discretion of the MIFF programming director or executive director. The festival does not cover any of the expenses incurred by the filmmaker.

All entry fees are non-refundable.
