MUJAASI MICHEAL (Mickyedits) is a young film producer, director, editor, writer, actor and cinematographer with a passion for storytelling across various mediums with a unique ability to blend artistic vision with technical expertise. With over 5years of experience in the industry, he has worked on a diverse range of projects, from documentaries, feature films, short films and series.
MUJAASI MICHEAL(Mickyedits) began his career as a freelance actor in down town film companies, where he honed his skills in acting where he gained interest in learning film making, he therefore joined a film school (CINELAB AKADDEMIE INITIATIVE) where he was crafted with the knowledge of film making i.e editing, camera works, scriptwriting, directing, photography and cinematography, He believes in the power of storytelling to evoke emotions and provoke thought, often exploring themes such as climate, health, edutainment to the youth, human rights and faith.

In addition to his film education background mickyedits did a hollywood camera works short course at CINEART ACADEMY through career development program with Uganda communication commission(UCC).
When not on set, MUJAASI enjoys studying film on you tube, attending film festivals, watching movies, watching studio binder, learning editing and shooting tips. He continues to seek out new opportunities for collaboration and growth in the ever-evolving landscape of cinema.
As an actor he has featured in gunsinze series running on sanyuka tv every sunday at 9:50pm, get rich quick directed by a hollywood director BRIAN GLASSFORD writen by DERRICK WARFEL, Boomerang a vibe films production and many more films
As an editor and cinematographer i worked on my very first project called the turn of trust running on you tube.
As a DOP i have shot some scenes of gunsinze, Bangi and her dilemma
i have produced my very first project titled her dilemma and it was premiered in cinema at ham towers Cinemax on 31 of November 2024, her dilemma was selected in the lift off global network festival in 2024.
