Dhaka based writer and filmmaker Muhammad Anwar Hossain gather his elements of works from the existing experience around him and manipulates the image in order to explore the nature of the relationship between visuals and narrative. Inspired among other things by the aesthetics of classical literature, cinema, music as well as from the others art form. He is trying to finds new ways of critically defining himself in opposition to the illustrative nature of the image.
His film “HOME” (2018) is compete for the Best Experimental Documentary Film award at ji.hlava international documentary film festival 2018.
Recently he is working on several film project.
