Mestre Sirso: when the world is silence the vibration is a master
Mestre Sirso is a deaf, black man who reveals a history of resistance in the struggle for rights. A resident of the outskirts of Cascavel, Paraná, Sirso lost his hearing at the age of four, in 1974. He is one of the victims of the meningitis epidemic, denied by the government of the military dictatorship. Life is given new meaning when he enters the Capoeira circle, feels the vibration of the berimbau sound, breaks the silence and becomes a Mestre. In the wheel of life, the struggle for inclusion continues.
