Baelen Schultz is a student filmmaker in the Radio, Television & Film major at the University of Texas at Austin for the class of 2029. He previously attended Vandegrift High School, where he spent time writing and directing some of his first short film projects, such as "Mr. Happy", "Bite Marks", and "The Undersigned". He also dedicated time to his high school's theatre program, acting and working tech for multiple productions, even writing and starring in his very own one act play, "Father and Son". Aside from Schultz's creative endeavors, he excels academically and also enjoys participating in sports like wrestling and bouldering.
Directing this short was definitely an interesting challenge, especially with the limited resources, time, and people that we had. But in the end, it was a lot of fun and an amazing learning experience. I'd like to express my thanks to the Vandegrift High School Audio/Video Production program and all the people in it that helped make this film possible. Thank you everyone!
