I wanted to create a movie that time bends from a young character to an older one. Military kid life is just a topic no one really covers. It causes issues, plus there are so many runaways still today across North America in general. It is not always because of bad circumstances; and, I hope this raises some awareness on the matter. Some kids just want to go their own way, and are too shy to come back.
As a film maker being taken seriously because of age, or because I am a girl, should not be an issue. I am capable to do things, and hopefully, great things like amazing pieces of art that moves someone's heart. We have to move past old ways of thinking...you know, say good bye to it
