Movement in 8mm

In nature, we find all kind of movements: everything moves. And if everything moves, that means everything changes. We are in constant motion, and therefore in constant change. Such is the cycle of life. We grow. And then we disappear, just like our grandparents did long ago.

With this Super8 film made from a family archive, I create a new temporal dimension. I dance with the mountain, I dance with the wind and the water. I dance with the light, the leaves and the cows. But I also dance with the four grandparents who lived all this and, in some way, who are inside me, because we share a family bond: a blood that flows.
