Mosaic for Earth
Mosaic for Earth is the film version of the world premiere of an original composition for adult and children's choirs, symphony orchestra, and soloists. Mosaic for Earth celebrates nature while exploring humanity's impact on and responsibility towards the environment. The lyrics in this environmental oratorio include writings by ten environmental authors including Terry Tempest Williams, Erik Reece, W.S. Merwin, N. Scott Momaday, and Stewart Udall. The 250 musicians on stage are surrounded by stunning visual arts components designed by David Franusich, featuring Barbara Wolff's illuminations, "Psalm 104: You Renew the Face of the Earth."

This 75-minute work is a celebration of nature and exploration of humanity’s impact on the environment. As a collaborative pianist, Bigler has performed throughout the U.S., Europe, Brazil, China, and Ecuador. Bigler holds degrees from Brigham Young University (B.M. in Piano Performance, M.M. in Choral Conducting) and The University of Texas at Austin (D.M.A. in Choral Conducting).
As a musician and composer, I have often asked myself how I could help to address the urgent issues related to human-caused climate change. Knowing that music has a powerful ability to inspire, unite, and motivate, I composed this new work to engage communities in important conversations and learning opportunities while inspiring motivation to enact change.
