Director Biography - Bryan Marshall

Vancouver B.C. based Artist, Illustrator and Digital Media Content Creator

Bryan Marshall creates dark and whimsical renderings transmitting lost communications from the hazier reaches of childhood memory - reframing memoir in metaphor with a mixture of anxiety and optimism.

Bryan works in a vast range of mediums with a concentration on ink and paints including watercolour, acrylic and oil.

A combination of fine art, animation and digital media studies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Art Institute of Vancouver inform the distinct execution of Bryan’s unique style and themes.

In addition to creating his own graphic novel entitled BOMBYX, Bryan is currently developing a web-based Arts and Culture series called Wasted Painter.
