Moon Chasing the Wind

This is a detective series that travels in and out of time; back and forth from the Spanish Inquisition through eras of New World history — holding hands with the ghosts of the past.

Verdad (Truth in Spanish) Sitting never expected to be unleashed in the field so soon after getting her certification as Santa Fe County Law Enforcement — Detective Unit. She is part Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rosario Dawson.

Crypto-Jewish women are being poisoned and placed at significant sites. They all have the “Hamsa Hand” tattooed somewhere on their body to maintain the “old country” recognition of their female, jewess identity in New Spain. As these women begin to feel safe to live their true identity, someone(s) is carrying out their present day demise. Three women are murdered by what is a “DeVince Code-esque” unraveling of history. Serial killers? Or, is a ghost of the past catching the present? Will the viewers ever really know? Through unraveling a hidden female society, and searching feminine symbology, the chase for truth proves suspenseful with death and exposure on the same trail.
