Syahr El-Ghafran (Month of Forgiveness)

Afri has just returned from the United Kingdom for his semester break. He reunites with his old friends Faran and Harris. This marks the beginning of Afri's introduction to Faran's sister Kara. Because Afri knew that Faran would not agree with his relationship with Kara, they chose to hide it from Faran because Faran is a bit conservative and thus this sparks a conflict between them. Will Faran forgive Afri's actions? Will this conflict ended up with forgiveness in the holy month of Ramadan Mubarak.

Director Biography - Akmal Marhain

A young aspiring independent filmmaker from a small country in Southeast Asia, Brunei Darussalam. Akmal Marhain started making films with digital cameras with his relatives back in 2010 and started growing from there to amateur short films, web series and finally now a semi professional short films.

He now owned a production company under the label Marhain Entertainment since February 2019. With his visions and aspirations, he dreamed of breaking through into the mainstream film industry locally and internationally.
