Monster Maker
Queeny, a woman with a seemly kind heart volunteering at an animal shelter, harbors a dark secret. She's part of the infamous Volgrass family, known for their macabre art of creating "monsters" from human parts. Queeny's life is split in two: her compassionate side is at constant war with Lizz, her alter ego, who is a ruthless killer.
Her world changes when she meets Red, a young cop investigating the mutilations that mirror his father's unsolved murder. As Queeny falls in love with Red, she struggles to control Lizz, whose violent tendencies threaten to destroy everything she cherishes. Queeny's basement and an abandoned paper mill become the backdrop for her dual existence, where she pickles human parts alongside vegetables for her "creations."
The tension escalates as Red's investigation brings him closer to the truth, forcing Queeny to confront her monstrous side. Torn between protecting Red and succumbing to Lizz's desires, Queeny faces a critical decision. In a dramatic climax, she sacrifices herself, jumping into the falls to end Lizz's reign of terror, hoping to spare Red from further bloodshed.
However, a mysterious thank-you note sent after her presumed death suggests that perhaps Queeny, or at Lizz, might still be out there, continuing the Volgrass legacy.
