Monsoon Balad
A line with no end,
As far as sight could see,
As coveting for the rain could be.
Oh, to be a monsoon,
With a heart unshackled at most,
Blowing wind from coast to coast.
With my stare sailing far at sea,
The ocean will never be lonely.
With its lake trail of waving trees,
The vast view is a thrill to see.
As when your heart enveloped mine,
We merged into one,
As our longing and desire for each other
Entertwined and illuminate this nature.
Even when the waves crash haunt,
It is not at all a taunt,
For here I am standing true blue at the seafront.
