Aziz Zairov, born on August 20, 1968, in Almaty city (Kazakhstan).
From the age of 2 to 15 he spent his life in an orphanage.
He also has a 2nd group of disability.
Aziz graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, film faculty,
specialty "Cinema and Teledramaturgy" Almaty city, Kazakhstan.
After graduating from the Academy, Aziz came to work at the Association of Parents of Disabled Children (ARDI), as a coordinator of creative workshops at the Center for Creative, Medical and Physical Rehabilitation of Children and Youth with Disabilities.
In 2011 he participated in the annual charity project "CINEMA AGAINST PAIN" 2011. The short feature film "WINTER BUTTERFLY" received the GRAND PRIX "BEST DIRECTORIAL DEBUT" The prize was presented by the legend of world cinema Alain Delon.
In 2014, in collaboration with Kazakh cinematographer Mukhamed Mamyrbekov, they shot a full-length feature social film "To be or not to be?"(2014), which became the 1st part of the trilogy "Endless Possibilities". Almost all the roles in the film were played by children with special needs, students of the Rehabilitation Center "ARDI". The main role is played by a young guy, Takhir Umarov, a disabled person of the 1st group, diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The film premiered in Almaty and Astana. For three weeks the film had a limited release at the "Arman" and "Caesar" Cinemas. The film is a participant and winner of international film festivals:

In 2017, by order of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Kazakhfilm Film Studio and the Novy Mir Video Studio, a full-length feature film "The Girl and the Sea", the second part of the trilogy "Endless Opportunities", was shot. In this picture, most of the roles are also played by ARDI students, guys with special needs. Starring Dinara Sharipova. Due to cerebral palsy, her hands almost do not work and she does everything with her feet.

In 2021 as General producer, scriptwriter and director in a creative tandem with Mukhamed Mamyrbekov they filmed the third part of the "Endless Possibilities" dilogy, the film "Mom, I'm Alive!". The Kazakh premiere took place in Almaty, December 1, 2022.

At the moment, in parallel with film projects and social activities, Aziz is working on a book about the orphanage and orphanage residents. The title is "Starting Position or Confession of a Careless Orphanage". He plans to make a movie based on this book.
