Abbas Kiarostami was ill and was sent to the hospital. I never went to see him because I believed with all my heart that he would survive ... Together with my classmates at the Kiarostami’s filmmaking workshop, We decided to make low-budget films as in workshops and give them to Abbas Kiarostami. But before we made our films, all verbs suddenly turned into the past tense on the Wikipedia section of Abbas Kiarostami! Instead of mourning, we created and presented our 1-minute short films because we believed that he was alive and would see and comment on all the videos with his own obsession. I had made several films before going to the Kiarostami’s filmmaking workshop. My interest toward Kiarostami made me go to his workshop. And my two-year presence in his workshop made me think more than ever that I had to watch the world from my window ... He always insisted that I should have gone my own way and made my own words ... I made this movie with all my heart ... Even the crew who helped me in this film, loved Kiarostami! In addition to a family relationship with Kiarostami, the film's boy was his actor in Venice 70: Future Reloaded (2013), made for the seventy-fifth anniversary of Venice by Kiarostami. The father in my film was Kiarostami's nephew and actor in Venice 70: Future Reloaded (2013),. And the actress in my film was the boy’s mother and the man’s wife in real. The Supervising Sound Editor was Supervising Sound Editor in Kiarostami's films like 24 Frames (2017) and Take Me Home (2016). And my assistant was Kiarostami's student at the film-making workshop. Great Kiarostami was never appreciated in his country as he deserved! While there was only one Abbas Kiarostami in the whole world! When I was making the film, at the same time I was thinking of these: of Abbas's greatness ... of his skill ... of his unique worldview ... of his simpleness ... of his kindness ... and thinking of inattention of my country towards my master, that brings me tears!
