#MojoAwards Third Annual Mobile Journalism Competition

The Mobile Journalism Awards is an annual global competition run by the Visual Editors Non-Profit to advance, identify and celebrate the best mobile journalism reporting each year.
The best #Mojo Stories are screened at a special event at the NABSHOW in Las Vegas (In partnership with the Broadcast Educators Association).
Judges are free to make several awards from each open category, Students need not be intimidated to submit their work. In fact a female student from Mexico was awarded Best Documentary honors in last year's #MojoAwards show

This competition focuses on stories that have been reported with smartphones and other small recording devices like action cams, drones and pocket cameras.
Each journalist who has a story selected as a finalist will be awarded a $500 gift certificate from the Smart Film School.
The best work will be screened during a special event at the NABSHOW in Las Vegas on April 25 at the Las Vegas Convention center.
The best stories from this competition are then curated in a permanent collection at the Smart Film School. This allows scholars from all walks of life to review the collective body of documentary film work as it matures over time.

Proceeds from this event and prizes donated support Visual Editors, NFP - A public charity that provides visual journalism educational resources.
