Hello, my name is Rowan McDonnell (they/he) and I’m a writer, director and actor from Coventry. I had my start in theatre at the age of five and under fifteen years later I’m still going!

I have written many theatre shows over the last few years but this film is the second I’ve ever done. This story is really important to me as it comes from similar backgrounds and experiences and I hope people can find themselves where they haven’t been able to before
